Copyright Breach Notification and Process

UK law is NOT the DMCA.

The substance is the same—you can enforce your rights—but the process and details are entirely different.

We take content down expeditiously when notified. However, to prevent copyright abuse, we enforce a strict verification process. If you are here because you found a friend's content and believe it has been stolen, please tell your friend and have them contact us directly. You cannot claim on their behalf.

Important Warnings Before You Proceed

Creator Transparency: To prevent Malicious Falsehood and Tortious Interference with business, your complaint and business contact details will be forwarded to the Creator so they may mount a defence.

Do Not Include Home Addresses: Unless it is your official address for service, do not include your home address. Your complaint will be forwarded to the Creator AS IS. It is not our place to redact or edit your text. This is a legal document; it is your responsibility to get it right.

Contact Verification: We reserve the right to test your provided contact methods. If they are demonstrably false, generic, or non-functional, your claim will be voided.

Collab & Rights Checks: You must affirmatively confirm with the rights holder that the Creator does not possess a valid license, purchase, or collaboration agreement before submitting this form.

Unreliable Claimant Policy: Entities that establish a pattern of submitting materially false claims, targeting incorrect URLs, or failing contact verification will be restricted. Future claims from restricted entities will only be accepted on paper, via a registered UK solicitor, with a UK address for service.

  • Part 1: Standing and Identity
Please provide your Full Legal Name, Role (e.g., "IP Owner" or your job title), and functional Email and Phone number.
  • State clearly whether you are an individual claiming for your own IP, or a business acting for a client.
  • Generic emails (e.g., @gmail.com) submitted by businesses may require further identity verification.
  • If you are a lawyer, legal practice, or business, provide details of who regulates you and your official address for service.

Part 2: Statements of Truth
You must affirmatively state that:

  • The details provided are correct.
  • You are the IP owner (or their duly authorized representative).
  • You have verified that the Creator does not hold a valid right to use this IP.

Part 3: Details of the Breach
Provide the exact URLs of the infringing content on our platform. Include a detailed description of the copyrighted work being breached. Where possible, provide links to the original source material or a creation narrative (e.g., "This is our scene shot on X date...").

Subsequent Process (After the Takedown)
We take down content when we receive an email that adequately covers the above requirements. Whether or not the content stays down depends on the verification process:

Creator Notification: We forward your complaint to the Creator and ask if the claim is justified, and if so, how the breach occurred. We do not tolerate copyright abuse; Creators who infringe are at risk of account termination.

Evidence of Rights: If the Creator disputes the claim and provides evidence that they DO have the rights (e.g., a model release, raw footage from before the edit, BTS, video consents, or collab receipts), we immediately move to VERIFICATION of your claim.

Verification Check: We may rigorously test your bona fides, your personal and business details, and the evidence upon which you based your Statements of Truth. If your details do not stack up, it is a mark against you.

Resolution: Whether or not we restore the content is a matter between the Creator and ourselves. We may restore it unilaterally (for example, if your contact details fail verification). Usually, however, we or the Creator will send you a formal response stating their position, providing their evidence, and requiring you to withdraw the claim.
